Its going to be a year!!!

Hhmm... its going to be almost a year that anyone amongst us has written anything about himself or herself!!

Are we too occupied? Or is it just our incapability to manage our time or our unwillingness to write a blog and open to other friends!

Well, as far as i am concerned, yes.. its my inability to manage my time that i defend myself saying that i am busy and need some time for my life and my career.

I remember the last day of my school, the farewell day - when our teachers told us that life wasnt gonna be so easy after i pass the phase of school. I smiled at them, thought - again a speech... a lecture which i had rendered invalid. Wondered, then, why on earth the teachers cannot make things simple for you.... End the speech so that we can party!!! Now i understand how correct they were, they are..and shall remain. But i would love to go back to those school days..particularly the last year of my school life ...Class XII, and ask my Principal and my teachers why were we only told that life wouldnt be easy post School... why wernt we given any guidance, any path, any SIMPLE rule to overcome such hardship. Perhaps, we were told something, i dont remember those today... i didnt listen to them then! But i wonder now..

All.. said and done!! No more sentis....

Friends.. share something with all of us. I am sure i can learn a lot from all of you! :)

Update of day after "Sagai"

As I was going through the "sagai" pictures of Malvika, I felt nice to see one of my best friend is tying her knot and ready to start her new life. Looking at the pictures reminded me how time has changed. There was a time when we used to wait to go to school, to meet each other and pour our heart out! We always had some secrets to share. We could never run out of stock of our li'l secrets. Once I remember how during recess time we went to KV1 and had our first PEPSI CAN! And we were so excited!

Spending whole day together in school and then in tuition, still we'll go back home and call each other to update with whatever had happened in those few hours! And this bond was there even after I moved Pune. Though the frequency of meeting up and calls reduced but the bond was, rather is, still there. I remember when Soma told me about Amit. We actually made Malvika wait till I came down to Kolkata and then along with Soma took the "INTERVIEW" to be sure of Amit's intentions! That too in some ground where we were constantly being bitten by mosquitoes. And once we were convinced about "HIS INTENTIONS" we got Amit to my place (& saved ourselves from malaria) and gave a green signal to Malvika (as if we were the decision makers!).

When I heard about Malvika's wedding I was ecstatic. Though I can't be there right now to be a part of her big day, I wish her all the happiness and a wonderful life ahead!

My US experience in nut shell!!

In the past two years in US, I have experienced a lot of new things and i want to share those with you guys, my intend is not to bore you :) but to just share my experiences with you.

I came here first on the freezing January of 2007 in a month's assignment, my first destination in US was South Portland, Maine, frankly speaking it is not what i have pictured US to be, but after a week or so i have started liking the place solely because of the fact that i have made some good friends here, i just roamed around a bit since most of the time it was snowing and i was there only for a month so the time passed away really fast. That is just a glimpse of US for a month or rather i would say a glimpse of not so US for a month.

Next time i came to the same place on November 2007, same in all respect like the work, the apartment etc. for a long time assignment, so that time i have decided i will be exploring the US entirely, that time some of my college friends were also there in US, not in the same place though, so we have decided to go for a Florida trip on the long weekend of december, it was an awesome experience and a nice way to start 2008.

First part of 2008 is pretty low key for me, the main attraction for me is to get the driver license because in US, car is not a luxury but it is a necessity, public transport is very bad here so i have started preparing for the license and finally got it on October and also got my first car(i was really happy) on the same month itself. Same year i made some good friends again, went out pretty much on weekends and long weekends only and we had a lot of work in the office too, a lot of major releases went into production and everything was moving along very nicely, i end up 2008 with a trip to New York city, it was one of the thrilling moments for me and that is what i have pictured US to be :) and we have started the 2009 with a bang in NYC.

2009 is one of the best year i had in US so far, I made some really good friends and had an awesome time with them, for the first time i tried Skiing,Rock climbing, Sail boat racing, Mountain biking, Hiking, White water rafting and Camping, i also watched a base ball match in a VIP club seat, on June my parents visited me for a month and i had an wonderful time with them,we went to New york,Boston,Niagara Falls, Washington DC and Virginia, and you won't believe i drove my own car, and at the end of the month i have realized that i drove almost 5000 miles i want to stop my calendar/watch there itself, but time passed by and on September 2009 i moved to a new project in Boston.

Boston is a whole new chapter for me this yr, will keep you posted if something exciting happens :)

Another year dawns

BITTEN BY THE BUG
Another year is upon us and in a short span of time we would reach another New Year's eve. Its a pessimist's take on a new year , but as i see it its 365 days of sheer fun with studies spoiling a few days here and there.

I as others was drunk the whole of last week , thinking that the new year would turn out to be better. We have got a World Cup coming up & a; lot of marriages among our friends , after the initial bliss all these guys/gals would get on with the mundane life  of a married couple .(observed from different sets of parents) .

I know have written a lot of  gyan... Actually  thanks to the course am doing we are allowed to have our laptops  connected to the internet while a boring Oracle/Java class goes on . :)

cheers
